Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something really silly.

Banned user templates

Hello Stephen"Zap", I saw that you added the {{Banned}} template to three userpages. This is incorrect because these users are blocked, not banned; the banning policy is more restrictive and typically requires either formal consensus or repeated block evasion (see WP:BLOCKBANDIFF). In the future, please leave tasks involving blocked/banned users to administrators. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 01:11, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

Helpful Raccoon is correct; please leave any sock tagging to Checkusers, SPI Clerks or blocking administrators. Thank you, -- Ponyobons mots 17:17, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Pauline Potter

Hi, so the YouTube link I posted as a source for Pauline's death didn't work for some reason. It's a video from Pauline's channel where her son confirmed her death. This fund site also confirms her death, but I can't post it on this wiki for some reason. It's title "Contribute to Pauline Potter's Memorial" Billythesuperguy (talk) 22:17, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Fixed on both pages. Stephen"Zap" (talk) 02:34, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
